They allow you to instantly understand how close your employees and assets are in proximity to specific geographical points. Our software also allows you to create geofences around POIs, meaning you can be notified every time that your employee or asset enters or leaves certain areas. Overall, this gives you greater visibility over your workforce and ensures that your operations are always running smoothly.
How to Add Points of Interest in Dropapin
There are multiple ways to add POIs to the map in Dropapin. To start adding a POI, navigate to the “Tracking” tab using the left sidebar. Then, carry out either one of the steps below:
- Click the POI tool
located above the map and click “Add POI”. After that, click on the map to choose where you want your POI to be located.
- Click one of your assets located on the map and click “Add POI”.
- Click the red + sign located at the bottom right side of the map and click “Create Your POI”.
Following this, a pop-up will appear on your screen. Here you can give your POI a name (e.g. Office) and position the POI more accurately. You may also choose to list your POI in a category and add any relevant notes. Finally, to make the POI live on the map, simply click “Add New POI” at the bottom of the pop-up.
