The Teltonika FMT100 is mounted directly on the vehicle battery, without using any additional fasteners or special tools. To install the tracker, following the instructions below:
- Locate the battery in your vehicle.
- If present, remove the battery cover to access battery terminals.
- Ensure the surface of the battery is clean.
- Peel off the double-sided tape from the FMT100 device.
- Attach the device on the battery, ensuring that the power wires are facing the front of the vehicle.
- Fasten the red power wire to the positive terminal and black ground wire to the negative terminal of your vehicle battery.
- Wait until the device LED indicators start blinking.
- Once the LED indicators start blinking, installation is complete.

Teltonika FMB001 (DP001 – OBD Premium Tracker)
The Teltonika FMB001 tracker is easier to install. Once we’ve configured your device and connected your SIM, all you need to do is to insert the device into the OBD port of your vehicle, which is usually located underneath your steering wheel. This means the device will be able read data directly from your vehicles on-board computer in order to provide accurate tracking information.
